HB 248—DISCLOSURE OF FULL COSTS

Full-time Freshman and Sophomore resident students at the University of Utah paying a semester tuition and fee amount of $2,642 (before any financial aid, scholarships, or waivers) contribute an estimated 48 percent to the full cost of instruction per full-time student of $5,517. The remaining support for the full cost of instruction is provided by $2,875 in state tax funds.
Full-time Junior and Senior resident students at the University of Utah paying a semester tuition and fee amount of $2,666 (before any financial aid, scholarships, or waivers) contribute an estimated 48 percent to the full cost of instruction per full-time student of $5,517. The remaining support for the full cost of instruction is provided by $2,851 in state tax funds.
