Beginning Fall Semester 2004 all Graduate Students, including Law and Medical Students, are subject to the University of Utah's new tuition policy. This policy has been in effect for Undergraduate Students since Fall of 2003. All Graduate and Undergraduate students who fail to pay tuition by 4:45 p.m. (MDT) on May 27, 2008 will have their classes cancelled. This means that the classes you have registered for will be deleted from your academic record. Checks returned for insufficient funds will also result in class cancellation.
- All Graduate and Undergraduate students are responsible for paying tuition for term length, first half, second half, and miscellaneous session classes by 4:45 p.m. (MDT) on May 27, 2008.
- All unpaid account balances after the due date will be assessed a 20% late fee (not to exceed $60).
- Students who have classes deleted due to non-payment of tuition may not reinstate cancelled classes or use late add forms to add classes. Second session classes, however, may be added via the Web.
- The initial tuition billing statement is not mailed to you. To view your billing statement, and make payments online using a credit card or e-check, log into the Campus Information System at http://cis.utah.edu and select Tuition Bill/Pay Tuition. If you do not wish to pay online, then please print a copy of your bill to accompany your check payment.
- Dishonored checks will cause classes to be dropped immediately upon the University of Utah being notified.
- Be aware of the following:
- The application deadline for AMS Payment Plan for Fall Semester starts July 1, 2008 and ends September 1, 2008. AMS payment plan is not available for Summer Semester.
- Any account paid in full by financial aid will have their AMS contract automatically canceled.
- Tuition Reduction forms must be submitted to the Benefits Department by May 12, 2008.
- If your tuition is paid by a third party (i.e. state agency, military, employer, private scholarships, AMERICOR benefits, etc.), payment vouchers must be received by May 12, 2008. If you have questions, please call Income Accounting at (801) 581-7344.
- YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR MONITORING YOUR TUITION ACCOUNT through the Campus Information System. Tuition must be paid by 4:45 p.m. (MDT) on May 27, 2008 by you or through one of the above methods.
- Reminder: All Graduate and Undergraduate students who fail to pay tuition by the due date will have their classes cancelled.
