In a continuing effort to
improve our services at the University
of Utah, the
Registrar's Office has developed a web-based system that allows faculty and
departments to directly submit grades online. This new online process which
replaces the printed grade sheets will be implemented Fall Semester 2004.
What are the Benefits of Online Grading?
- Grades can be
submitted from anywhere with an Internet connection.
- Instructors will have
an additional week to submit grades.
- Short term courses can
be graded once the class ends.
- Completed grade
rosters will be available for viewing on the web indefinitely.
- Grade rosters will
display up-to-date enrollment information, e.g., late adds and
"W" grades.
- Primary instructors
can authorize others, including administrative assistants and T.A.s, to
assist with grading.
- In addition to saving
time and money, this new process will insure grading accuracy.
