For university students and working professionals, the University presents EdTech, a noncredit computer training program for today's high-tech world. We offer customized training - give us a call for program advisement.
Through EdTech, an employee may earn different certifications. These certifications include:
- A + Certification
- Microsoft MOUS Certifications
- Cisco
- Novell
- Other computer based certifications

AOCE
The mission of Academic Outreach & Continuing Education (AOCE) is to extend the University of Utah's capacity to provide educational opportunities to a diverse and evolving audience. Academic Outreach and Continuing Education offers credit, noncredit and professional courses covering a wide range of topics from art to sports to writing. Areas within Academic Outreach and Continuing Education include Lifelong Learning, Independent Study, Telecourses, Youth Education, Conferences, Preparatory Courses, Career Services, Professional Education, and Certificate Programs.
Classes are offered at the main University of Utah campus. In addition, classes
are offered at off-campus locations in Bountiful, Murray (Cedar Park), Park City,
and Sandy. Some classes are taught at different accomodating locations.
