Minor. Students must complete 17 credit hours listed
under Classical Civilization. Two of the five courses must
be upper-division (3000-4000 level). No work in Latin or
Greek language will count towards the minor. Courses in
history, philosophy, art history, and anthropology with
heavy emphasis on ancient Mediterranean culture may be
substituted for Classical Civilization classes, subject to
approval by the Classics section coordinator.
