208  Filmmaking Intensive Workshop (Age 10-15) (0)
Calling all aspiring actors, directors, cinematographers, and composers. Come spend an intensive week at the Spy Hop Studio pursuing your cinematic dream. The production team will focus on preparing for the shoot: cinematography, directing, location-scouting, and lighting. The sound engineering team will compose an original score and produce sound effects, and the drama team will focus on acting, prop acquisition, wardrobes, and make-up. Following the completion of the shoot, all three teams will once again converge for the post-production stage to digitally edit their creation. The finished product will be a short five-ten minute film for output to DVD or VHS tape. Look out Sundance!

209  Acting and Filmmaking (Age 9-15) (0)

Most directors will tell you that learning how to act is an essential trait of being a good director. Good actors also know how the camera captures their actions, so learning directing and cinematography will help improve on-camera acting skills. This workshop will provide both aspiring actors and directors the opportunity to explore these facets of filmmaking while shooting their own short film. Participants will also learn basics of lighting, editing, and sound effects.
