SOCIAL SCIENCE TEACHING MAJOR

    I. Core Requirements

      Choose three departments from the six listed: Anthropology, Economics, Geography, Political Science, Psychology, and Sociology. One social science teaching methods course is required. It may be taken in any one of the three disciplines selected for the composite major, but may not count toward the 13-hour minimum in that discipline. The history teaching minor and secondary education classes are required.

      ECON 2010 Principles of Microeconomics  3

      ECON 2020 Principles of Macroeconomics  3

      Choose three courses:

      GEOGR 1400 Human Geography  3

      GEOGR 1600 World Regional Geography  3

      Choose two regional courses:

      It is recommended that you take GEOGR 1200  3
